Oustalet’s chameleons have a distinctive appearance, with their large size, prominent casque on their head, and vibrant coloration that can range from shades of green, brown, and yellow. These chameleons are arboreal creatures, meaning they spend most of their time in trees, using their strong limbs and prehensile tail to navigate their environment.One of the defining features of Oustalet’s chameleons is their ability to change color. While some people mistakenly believe that chameleons change color to blend in with their surroundings, in reality, they use their color-changing ability to communicate with other chameleons, regulate their body temperature, and even express their mood.
