They are known for their vibrant hues of red, orange, green, and turquoise, which can change in response to their mood, temperature, or environment. The carpet chameleon is also known for its distinct ridges along its back and tail, giving it a unique and striking appearance.In the wild, carpet chameleons are typically found in the trees and bushes of Madagascar’s forests, where they feed on insects and small invertebrates. They have specialized feet with opposable digits that allow them to grip branches and move easily through their arboreal habitats.
